Ok, so I know you all remember the good-old-days of Pokémon. (It was a much needed switch from Sailor Moon.) But it became huge.

I also remember how everyone had the cards (or at least a few). With that were Pokémon Red (best!), blue and *gasp* a new one!!! Yellow!!! That was back when there were "150 or more to see". Now, the new legendary Pokémon are the last ones... two more birds (Lugia, 249, and Ho-oh, 250)... and Celebi 251. Wait. It's not in the game.

Then there's Raikou, Entei and Suicune (243, 244 and 245)... what do you mean they run around? Alright, fine!

OMG! Eevee had new evolutions?! Espeon is 196, Umbreon 197, what was Eevee again? ... Right 133. Only evolves day/night. Great.

Girafarig's a cool name, and aww... Tediursa's cute. What're they're numbers? I don't care anymore!

What the heck is an Octillery???!!!

So going back now, almost a decade later, and trying to write that last bit up I find, on this page, [link]

4, Count 'em, Four!!! DIFFERENT Pokédexes!!! 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care what you say, Pikachu is number 25! Not 25, 22, 156 and 104! Everyone knows that, everyone goes by that! (Well used to anyway.) But this isn't a sport's team, it's Pokémon!

(And Treecko, Sceptile and Mudkip are biters! There're the stupidest-looking starter Pokémon! And I loved the starter Pokémon! Especially fire-types.♥ )

I also found this right at the bottom. For some Pokémon an * appears beside their name because, and I quote:

* These Pokémon can not be caught in the game by normal means. They were officialy only made available at promotional events.


(How could you!!! So only the "select few" will 'catch 'em'! Thanks a lot!!!)

But what I hated most about the Pokémon games were those who tried to cheat me. No you are NOT using a GameShark against me!

I have a Charizard in Red at lv 89, 759176 EXP (need 2984)

and a Typholsion in Silver at lv 100, OMG! where is my file!!!

( O_o I have. To start. Again. [Excuse me.] *cries* I think I would have rather lost Red than Silver. Oh this better not be a "virus" from that Blue version... Is that even possible on GameBoys?)

Anyways, high levels, NO GameShark NOR Rare Candy used.

P.S. The internal battery's dead on my Pokémon Silver. People check your games now to make sure this hasn't happened to you. (I know you still have them.) It'll make them worthless if you can't save. I've emailed Nintendo about it... Yes, I have.

Update: My game cannot be saved unless I fix it myself. Anyone out there know how to switch the batteries in Silver? (Not Emerald, not Diamond. Silver)
